Homburg, 16.01.2016

In Homburg we traveled with our friend from Russia Nastya and her familiar Egyptian Mahmud.
Homburg is just a half an hour from us to the west, but while we had only rains, there was real snow!

Some strange sculpture... In the table below there was something about Aristotel.

Snow!.. In the stone manuscript is written about some union.. Unfortunately, we don't know the history so good.

Again some historical events... It was about reunion of Germany, but not in the XX century, I think.. The title on the stone is "from Homburg to Hambach". The Hambach is the part of Neustadt - the city is also in a half of an hour from us but to the east. We were in Hambacherschloss with our German friends and they told us, that there was the first Manifestation in Germany after the French Revolution with the same idea: "Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood!".

This is about German newspaper, Deutsche Tribüne. I never heard about it in modern life, but nevertheless it looks interesting!

And that one is already about German Re-Union in the end of XX century - the breaking the Wall.

So, this is in general the Fountain of Freedom!

Again a fountain, but a little bit smaller))

I had had no idea what is this tower in the middle of the pedestrian street before I looked inside...

That creepy buildings are city hall complex! They are reconstructed.

And again - Snow! Not only we are happy because of it))

And then we go as usual - to find the castle) First of all - to find where is the highest place near the town. On our way to hill we found really nice church.

And we found the way to the castle!

All participants of this trip! (and me, taking the photo)

Shaya asks: Snow!? Snow!..

So yes, we are now above the Homburg

Oh, that kind of paths is my love!

The castle! Tio is very happy that we could find it, it wasn't easy) And Shaya as well)

The plan of the castle

And some pictures nearby)

Tio looks like an owner of the castle!

So, it is time to go back.

Already in the city-centre. It was just Christmas gone and people already started to decorate for Oster! (The hare in the middle)

***
So, it was not so difficult, as I was afraid, so hopefully soon we will tell about all our trips! ))
