Landstuhl, 29.07.2017

When we go with a train from Kaiserslautern to the west, a nice town Landstuhl always attracted Nerr's attention - forest, hills, narrow streets... - all that we adore! So, one nice late-summer day we chose the town as our destination

While some of us were trying to make a route,

Shaya is already eager to start!

This touristic rout is a little bit long for today... (135 km) but one day we will back with bicycles!

Maybe not the nicest view, but very typical for the town, so let it be

Such a treasure among boredom...

We found it! The starting point of a journey.

Unfortunately, this view is also very common for the town. Worth to mention - Landstuhl is a residence of Americans, who work nearby in Rammstein. By the way, to publish photos of the air base is forbidden, so we won't do it. But we saw it! Airplanes, huge angars and so on.

Ok, we went to the forest and our next stop we can see there... on horizon...

Happy owner of the map...

The weather was perfect! The person in blue is a brother of our constant companion. He is very shy, so it is kind of cruel to make a photo of him, but... =)

Just nice details

We reached it! Bismarkturm. A brother of our Humbergturm (by the way, Humberg - who was it?..)

The view from above: (not Rammstein, but close...)

A special BBQ-place is waiting for guests!.. for some price, that are not on the view... Suspicious, you know

We went further and found another good point to observe

Here we try to find our way back...

the same chapel from other side

If we had bicycles with us we could easily ride home from there!

I'll never get bored by these pictures...)

We've found a lake, literally named "Bear's hole", don't ask, it's a nice place!

A bee is too tired to transport her heavy burden... After a rest she can continue her way) And we as well))

We are not only tired, but also hungry. Don't worry, Nerr is a biologist!

A castle Sickingen is welcoming us

A view of Landstuhl from the castle

A proof, that Americans live here....)

This is a sign, that we could follow to reach the castle

And the last picture before the rail station

The end!
